01 - 8 large sheets roasted nori

02 - 2 tablespoons sesame oil
03 - 1 tablespoon tamari or gluten-free soy sauce
04 - 1 teaspoon maple syrup
05 - ½ teaspoon sea salt
06 - ¼ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
07 - 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

08 - 1 tablespoon crushed wasabi peas
09 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 285°F. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Combine sesame oil, tamari, maple syrup, sea salt, and chili flakes in a small bowl and stir well.
03 - Place one nori sheet shiny side down on the parchment and lightly brush with seasoning mixture. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Repeat by layering nori sheets and brushing with seasoning until all sheets are stacked, finishing with seasoning on top.
04 - Using a sharp knife or kitchen scissors, cut the layered nori sheets into bite-sized strips or squares.
05 - Spread cut pieces evenly on the lined baking tray. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, monitoring closely to avoid burning.
06 - Remove from oven and allow to cool completely to crisp up. Garnish with crushed wasabi peas and chopped green onion if desired. Serve immediately or store airtight.
