# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes indulgent but won't weigh you down, and it's ready before your coffee finishes brewing.
  • The matcha gives you sustained energy without the jitters, plus that gorgeous color that makes breakfast feel intentional.
  • You can prep the smoothie base the night before and just add toppings in the morning when you're barely awake.
02 -
  • If your matcha tastes bitter, you're either using water that's too hot to blend it first or your matcha is old, always store it in a cool dark place and it'll stay bright and fresh.
  • The banana must be frozen or you'll end up with a drinkable smoothie instead of a spoonable bowl, there's a real difference and it matters for the whole experience.
03 -
  • Make the smoothie base in a jar the night before and just pour it into a bowl each morning with fresh toppings, it stays creamy and fresh for about twelve hours.
  • If you don't have frozen banana, use regular banana with a handful of ice cubes, it changes the texture slightly but still creates that fluffy consistency everyone loves.
