Grilled Halloumi Watermelon Skewers (Print Version)

Char-grilled halloumi and watermelon on skewers dressed with lime, pepper and mint for a vibrant summer starter.

# Components:

→ Skewers

01 - 250 g halloumi cheese, cut into 3 cm cubes
02 - 400 g seedless watermelon, cut into 3 cm cubes

→ Dressing & Garnish

03 - 2 tbsp olive oil
04 - 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
05 - 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
06 - 10 fresh mint leaves, torn
07 - Sea salt, to taste

# Directions:

01 - Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
02 - Thread halloumi and watermelon cubes alternately onto skewers.
03 - Brush the skewers lightly with olive oil.
04 - Grill skewers for 2–3 minutes per side, turning until grill marks appear and halloumi is golden.
05 - Remove from grill and drizzle with lime juice.
06 - Sprinkle with black pepper, sea salt, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
07 - Serve immediately, warm or at room temperature.
