→ Icing Drizzle

08 - 1 cup powdered sugar
09 - 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
10 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
11 - Food coloring (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, beat unsalted butter and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
03 - Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract into the creamed mixture and blend until fully combined.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing just until incorporated.
05 - Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough and roll into balls. Place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets and flatten slightly using your hand or the bottom of a glass.
06 - Bake the cookies for 9 to 11 minutes, until the edges turn a light golden color. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
07 - In a small bowl, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until the mixture is smooth. Divide and tint with food coloring if desired.
08 - Once cookies have cooled, drizzle the icing over the tops using a spoon or piping bag. Let the icing set prior to serving.
